Call for Papers: Special Issue on Memetic Computing at iFUZZY2025
The emergence and advancement in machine learning has transformed the scientific landscape of algorithmics and AI into a symbiotic embodiment which is consistent with the conceptual ideology of Memetic Computing (Abstracted and indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded, EI Compendex, SCOPUS… ). This has shifted the perception of multiple competing "paradigms" to the idea that an algorithm can seamlessly blend multiple heterogeneous elements within a problem-solving framework. In this context, most modern machine learning algorithms implicitly and explicitly embrace the philosophy of memetic computing.
This journal, Memetic Computing, publishes original research articles focusing on algorithmic aspects and innovative implementations of machine learning and AI, with an interest in both exact and heuristic approaches. Review articles offering original insights into the current state-of-art research as well as forward looking research developments are also welcome. Additionally, interesting real-world applications that perpetuate the notion of knowledge as building blocks acquired within an AI foundational framework are encouraged. — cited from editor-in-chief of memetic computing.
All papers submitted to this special issue must be "full-paper submissions," adhere to the spirit of memetic computing, and follow the full-paper format provided by ifuzzy 2025. After logging into the submission system, please select the SS or main track to which you wish to submit your paper, and then select the SI to which you wish to participate. Three experts will review each paper and select those that align with the spirit of memetic computing and demonstrate high quality. You will be notified of your paper's acceptance during the "Acceptance Notification" period of ifuzzy 2025. All accepted papers are required to give an oral presentation during ifuzzy 2025. We will select outstanding papers from all oral presentations and recommend them to the Journal of Memetic Computing. Authors of papers recommended for the Journal of Memetic Computing must restructure their papers according to the journal's submission format and submit them to the journal themselves.
